The core message
It’s not fair that everyday people pay the cost of climate change.
Worsening extreme weather is driving up the cost of living – energy bills, food prices, and, especially, insurance costs. Homeowners and consumers end up paying more than their fair share for a problem they didn’t cause.
Stories about economic trends, forecasts, and failing systems aren’t enough to capture the painful truth. This has to be about homes you can’t afford to buy or protect. It’s people packing up and leaving the places they grew up because they can’t afford to stay. It’s grocery store shelves, not GDP. It’s happening TODAY, not in the distant future, and it’s deeply, fundamentally unfair.
